Positive: Easy and pleasant check in. Restaurant was open late. Restaurant service in the evening and the morning extremely friendly and helpful. The food was good, prices normal. Breakfast included in the room price, you choose off the menu (Gallo pinto, pancakes, bagel with guacamole and egg, yogurt with granola, fruit plate...something for everyone). Pool large, deep, and perfect temperature. Lots of lounge chairs to lay next to the pool, towels given at the restaurant. Room nice sized, great A/C and fan, bathroom with all the amenities (warm water, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, blow dryer, towels), bed and pillows comfortable, tv with cable. Free ample parking with security and wi-fi. Very nice facilities, food, and service. Very cute and sweet cat, Suzi, that is pretty sure she owns the place. If you give her any attention, you've got a roommate.

Negative: The hotel is about 15 minutes driving from Tamarindo and not much around. It's on a long stretch of road, in between towns. You definitely need your own transportation to get there. I did take a walk into a residential neighborhood, which was nice. However, you have to walk on a busy street for about 5 minutes to get there. The only other thing I didn't like is the way the manager spoke to employees. We overheard him a couple of times speaking down to the employees who were working hard and providing excellent customer services. Not cool for them or for us to hear.
